Are you Aging?

Getting Ready to Transition from this World?

Whichever it is, discover what it is to transform the way you think about your life—and live the time you have left. ‍

It’s never too early—or too late—

to learn to live life more consciously.

Or dream your perfect death.

For people of any age ready for the deep spiritual work of facing one of the most challenging things about life: that it doesn’t last forever.

Deep. Fulfilling. Cleansing.

Coming from love.

Keeping things real.

Why this work?

We live in a death-denying culture. We pretend it’s not going to happen—at least not to us.

As part of that denial, we separate the “elderly” by isolating and alienating our older population.

Yet with age comes wisdom and the ability to mentor those with less life experience. Instead of talking about how old you are, announce proudly how many years life experience you have!

Whether you’re older and healthy, or facing imminent death, this is life-changing work that can prepare you and those you love for when the time comes,

And it gives your life a whole new purpose, no matter how much time you have left.

What is the work?

  • Make a timeline of the important life-changing events or decisions made along your life’s journey

  • Create an Ethical Will detailing the legacy you are leaving your loved ones and the world and wisdom acquired along the way

  • Write a viduy, also known as a deathbed confessional, of things you need to let go of

  • Write your own obituary of how you would like to be remembered

  • Imagine your “perfect death,” putting it in writing so your loved ones can carry out your wishes.

Tailored to the individual or group, this journey can include readings, poetry, storytelling, guided meditations, Jewish chant, visual or auditory artwork. The possibilities are up to your personal creativity.
